Empennage Fairing, Fuselage Painting

Still not completely happy with the empennage fairing edges, so I laid up a bead of epoxy/flox under the edges and then cleco'd it tight. This should give a slightly wider section of fairing to skin mating surface.

I cleaned out the aft part of the cabin and removed the steel weldments and canopy latch mechanism. I lightly sanded the painted surfaces and then masked everything off.

I painted this section in the darker gray color.

I also painted these pieces from the latch mechanism and flap motor housing.
