Finished Flap Sensor, Seatback Interference
(1.0 Hours Electrical, 1.1 Hours Fuselage)
2.1 Hours Total

I finished the flap sensor system today. First, I drilled the strap to the steel weldment. Then I prepped & primed the strap. Finally, I riveted the strap to the weldment with two LP4-3 rivets and riveted the strap to itself with a solid rivet.

Looks good and works well.

I started clecoing loose cockpit pieces into the fuselage to get them off of the shelves.

I noticed this interference between the right seat back brace and the roll bar.

At first I thought I'd whack off the interfering end of the F-638 along with the little angle and then rivet a small new brace to it. However, bending the thick aluminum sheet using my vice caused it to crack. Instead, I am going to order a new F-638 and install it slightly shifted from where this one was.
