More F-705: Drilled Seatbelt Anchors (Bulkheads)
1.3 Hours

Previous - Index - Next

I've been fighting a cold the past couple of days, so I didn't spend a lot of time in the garage today, but I did manage to finish drilling the seatbelt anchors to the F-705 bulkhead.

The anchors each consist of a pair of powder-coated steal brackets, like this one.

You start by drilling a hole at the prescribed location in one of the anchor brackets.

Then, bolt it to the bulkhead.

Finally, you clamp the two halves of the anchor together with some kind of 3/16" spacer (I used bolts) in between, and back-drill the other bracket.

I did all four anchors and disassembled the pieces.

Merry Christmas!
