Fuel Selector, Fuel Lines (Mating Wings)
1.8 Hours

Previous - Index - Next

I started working on the fuel selector valve so I have a target for the fuel lines. I realized I could cut off the angled front part on the flat plate because I'm not using the manual elevator trim, so I did that. I ground down the little pointer on the selector lever as described.

I made the two spacers and bolted the valve to the plate.

Here's where it lives in the fuselage.

Then I started to figure out the fuel line run. This is larger and thicker than the vent line and a little harder to work with. It's a bit of a puzzle to get it in the spot where it goes. I'm gonna do some reading and see if anyone has some good tips. What you see here is a very rough fit.
