Cabin Frame Roll Bar Countersinking, Riveting (Cabin Frame)

Today I got the 120 degree #30 countersink bit for the CS4-4 blind rivets. I countersunk both aft channels.

Then, I riveted the splice plate and angle to the aft channels.

I prepped and primed a little on the back where the angle mates with the aft channels.

Then, I cleco'd the assembly together and clamped it into the jig on my work table.

There were a lot of blind rivets to pull, but I finished it up.

You can kind of see how the pieces fit together here.

It's very straight and incredibly rigid...you can't twist it at all.

Next up will be fitting it to the fuselage.
