Nav Lights, Copper Bar, Wheel Fairings
(Firewall, Landing Gear, Wing Tips)

Previous - Index - Next

I installed a pull-string in the conduit in the right wing, similar to what I had done in the left wing a while ago.

Then I printed out the templates for drilling holes for the nav lights on the wing tips.

Holes drilled.

AeroLED nav light/strobe installed on the right wing tip.

Here's a shot of the mounting bracket on the left wing tip, since I didn't grab a shot of it while I was doing the right.

Then, I fabricated this copper bar that connects the master solenoid to the starter solenoid.

Installed... there's not a lot of length to the post on the output side of the master solenoid. Both alternators and the main bus need to connect to some part of this copper bar. They may all have to go on the starter solenoid.

Then I got the fuselage lifted high enough to get the main gear off the ground and leveled it laterally and longitudinally.

I installed this mounting bracket for the wheel fairing and started looking at how the installation proceeds.
