Cowl Hinges (Firewall Forward)

First today, I countersunk and then riveted the lower cowl attach plates to the bottom skin and firewall.

Then I trimmed and drilled the vertical hinge segments and 0.020" shims.

On both sides...

After dimpling, countersinking, and prepping, I riveted the side hinge segments in place.

Finally, I very carefully drilled the top hinge segment and 0.032" shim. I won't rivet this until the forward top skin is riveted, but it will be good to have it ready for cowl install.

Some hinge loops get removed near the oil door on the top cowl, but I can snip those off later.
