I spent way too long fabricating and drilling this angle bracket. I kept mis-drilling it and having to re-fab the angle. In the end, got it done. The manual has you install the cabin air vents at this point. I got them down from the shelf. I had never realized how crappy the ones Van's sends you are. They are completely plastic and feel very cheap. There's a huge gab around the edge when it's closed--I can imagine this being very cold in the winter. I elected to order some expensive, but high quality machined aluminum vents to install instead of these. Then I disassembled the forward deck. I deburred and dimpled the forward top skin. I deburred a few other parts before calling it a day.
