The splotchiness of the primer from yesterday did not change. I'm wondering if my coat was too thin to adequately cover the differences in underlying material (especially because the first coat I did on the elevator tips did not suffer from this issue). In any case, I did a little wet sanding to try and even things out and then filled some pinholes with straight epoxy. Here's an example from the VS tip.

After the epoxy is dry I'll give all of these some more sanding and then shoot them with more primer.
