Canopy Reinforcement Fitting & Drilling (Canopy)

I continued with the reinforcement braces today. First I marked the tabs at 5/8".

Then I bent them along the lines I had marked.

I loosely fit them in their spots.

And then started drilling them to the WD-725 frame.

Here they are all drilled to the frame. I also did some trimming of the ends of the curved pieces to clear the WD-725 structure.

Then I mounted the frame/skin/braces in place on the fuselage and drilled the braces to the skin.

Next I fabricated the six clasps from 0.032" sheet per the instructions. These will provide structure to the stiffening holes.
