I countersunk and dimpled everything and then cleco'd it back together. I also modified the hinge eyes on the sides in the curved area of the upper hinge so they'll fit together nicely. I reinstalled the engine mount and gear legs. Then I laid up fiberglass & epoxy on the outboard sides of the aft halves of the wheel pants. I received the Vetterman exhaust yesterday and today I ordered an alternator plus some other misc electrical stuff from B&C. My propeller and prop governor are scheduled to ship soon, too. I had originally thought I would use B&C for main (belt driven) and backup alternators (spline driven on the vacuum accessory pad). However, today I decided to go for the Monkworkz generator as my backup. It's very light and small, but can manage 30A at cruise RPMs. The only downside is that the generator and the regulator both need cooling air from the baffles.
