I installed the Garmin autopilot servo mount in the wing. It's now ready to install the roll servo and the aileron pushrods later.

I also installed two plugs and a couple fittings in the VA-168 manifold. This is used to mount the transducers for oil, fuel, and manifold pressures. I need a couple more fittings for the manifold pressure port on top.

I lifted the plane off of the sawhorse onto the wheels. I don't plan to remove the engine mount again (famous last words, I know).

I bent the cotter pins through the engine mount bolts to show it I really meant it...

I reinstalled the wheel pants to make sure everything was fitting right after the fiberglass build-ups. I had to bend the inboard bracket on the right wheel a bit to get it to stop rubbing on the brake disc. I also did some more sanding on the joint line on the right pant. Then, I installed #6 nutplates inside the aft wheel pant halves.

I countersunk the #6 screw holes in the forward halves.

And countersunk the #8 screw holes in the inboard bracket sides of the halves.

I also installed the nutplates on the inboard brackets on the wheels.

I still need to rivet the outboard brackets to the pants and then prime them and they should be done.
