Instrument Panel Assembly (Forward Fuselage)

To solve the issue with the switch guards, I ground down some thin washers slightly.

I cut out the other hole for the GDU 460 MFD.

Then I prepped, primed, and riveted the reinforcement angle to the instrument panel.

I had to notch out the angle a little bit here where the pilot's display will pass through.

This is pretty much done for now until I have the actual instruments to final fit. I could cut the hole for the G5 and make the hole for the ELT head.

Another consideration is that I cut out the support ribs between the subpanel and the panel, since they would come right through the MFDs. I will need to add some kind of reinforcement to keep the panel supported and solid.
