Wheel Pant Sanding, Engine Plumbing
(2.2 Hours Firewall Forward, 0.5 Hours Landing Gear)
2.7 Hours Total

I sanded down the wheel pants where I had done some filling, but it was too windy to do any priming.

I installed the oil pressure line from the engine to the pressure manifold.

I installed the breather fittings and tubing.

I installed the line that carries fuel from the firewall to the mechanical fuel pump.

I installed the fitting on the output side of the fuel pump and then connected the pressure line to the manifold. This line seems too long--I may get a shorter one, because I want to install the oil cooler on the firewall in this area.

I also installed the line from the fuel pump to the fuel servo. This one is too short to stabilize on the intake tube with Adel clamps as the plans call for. I will either order a longer one or find a way to connect it to the sump or mixture cable bracket.

The hose that Lycoming supplies to connect the servo to the fuel manifold is too long, which makes it interfere with the mixture connections, so I will order a shorter one for that.
