Sanded Diffuser, More Airbox Work (Firewall Forward)

I spent some time sanding the oil cooler diffuser. It's basically ready to lay up the fiberglass now.

I trimmed and drilled the retainer clips for the air filter. The outboard one also gets drilled to the side baffle wall.

I disassembled all of these parts and did the dimpling and deburring. I installed the nutplates on the airbox flanges.

I also riveted the outboard retainer clip to the outboard baffle wall. I riveted the reinforcement strip on this piece, too.

I worked on the alternate air inlet to the airbox as well. Here is the flange after creating the hole in the side of the airbox, match drilling the flange, and riveting it with some epoxy/flox to seal it.
