Fiberglass Sanding, EGT/CHT Temp Probe Wiring

Today I wet sanded the VS/rudder fairings, the gear leg fairings, and the cowl halves. Then I patched a couple of spots with epoxy/micro. Another coat of primer tomorrow...

Then I spent a while splicing the EGT/CHT thermocouple wire ends to Type K thermocouple wire. They come with a screw, star washer, and nut for this purpose. I covered each splice joint with heat shrink.

I then used the supplied sleeve material to cover the splices.

I made sure each one had enough length to reach the future home of the engine monitoring LRU in the subpanel area.
