Remote LRU Mounting (Electrical)
5.7 Hours

I installed the GMU 11 (magnetometer) on the aft deck with a doubler to give me somewhere to bolt it. The lightening holes get in the way without the doubler.

I installed a GSU 28 autopilot just behind the baggage area for pitch control using the mounting bracket and control arm I had previously installed.

I installed the other GSU 28 autopilot in the right wing by the bellcrank where I had previously installed the mounting bracket and control arm.

Then I got back to work on the supports for the transponder in the aft fuselage. I trimmed the angles until it fit nicely and then drilled #40. Because the stringer I was riveting to rises as you go aft (you can kinda see the gap), I had to add some spacers for the outboard aft attach point.

Then I riveted it in place with 1/8" rivets. I could squeeze the inboard ends, but I had to buck the outboard ends with an offset rivet set. This is very solid now.

The remaining remote mounted LRUs are the temperature probe and the pitot/AOA tube with its regulator. Those both go in the wings. I believe everything else is mounted. I also need to mount the transponder antenna, the ELT antenna, and the WAAS GPS antenna in the aft fuselage.
