I finished up a few things on the GDU 460 PFD connector, as well as the separate connector for the backup RS-232 data path from the GSU 25 ADAHRS. Then, I wired power, ground, CAN bus, and a few buttons to the GAD 27. Finally, I wired CAN bus, power, and ground to the GMC 507 and put it in CAN bus termination mode. Then I fired up this half of the system. It works! Everything talks appropriately on the CAN bus. The G5 and GDU 460 even get GPS signal in the garage. Parts of the CAN bus not yet connected: GDU 460 MFD, GMC 245 audio panel, GTR 205x radio, GAD 29, and the roll autopilot servo. Also the two LRUs that don't participate in the CAN bus: GTN 650xi GPS/COMM/NAV and GTX 45R transponder--these primarily talk to the rest of the system through RS-232 and ARINC. There are a lot of other minor pieces, too, like the pitot tube, ELT, outside temp probe, CO detector, backup battery, and various lights.
