Reinstalling Panel, Control Cables

I installed the painted and labeled panel back into the plane and started installing the switches permanently with star washers. I also installed the switch guards between switch sections.

And the passenger's side.

Fired up everything to make sure it was all working.

I prepped and painted the vent supports in preparation for permanent installation.

Then I got to work on installing the alternate air and oil cooler control cables from the panel to the engine compartment.

I created a new firewall passthrough in my usual fashion.

The oil cooler cable connects to the butterfly valve in my oil cooler plenum. The forward position is open. Pulling back on the control cable closes it for winter operation.

Then I ran the alternate air cable forward to the alternate air setup. Pulling the cable opens the alternate air door. It cannot be closed again from the cockpit.
