This morning I was installed some of the covers in the area forward of the center spar carry through to test fit. I found that this conduit interfered with the cover under the fuel selector. Given the number of fuel lines in that area, it would not be straightforward to relocate these wires. So, I decided to modify the cover a bit. I cut a hole in it to allow the conduit to take its natural path. Then I sanded some foam to the appropriate shape. And laid up a couple layers of fiberglass over it. I took a while removing the adhesive from the back of these tie wrap mounts and then glued them in place with RTV. I'll let it cure over night before I attach the wire bundles. I installed the ELT antenna and tightened it down. I ran through the GPS tests as specified by Garmin to make sure the ELT wouldn't re-radiate around 121.5 when the COM is transmitting, which can evidently interfere with GPS reception. No interference noted! I installed two adel clamps to support the GTN GPS antenna cable. I installed conduit on the flap motor wiring where there's chance of it chafing on the motor or the covers.
