I replaced some bolts from the HS to the aft fuselage with new ones just cause the old ones were pretty banged up.

Then I installed the battery in the battery holder on the firewall.

Then I installed the prop on the plane. I need to bring my big foot-lb torque wrench next time to torque the bolts and then safety them.

I installed the rudder on the plane. This is the new RV-8 style rudder I made. I dropped so many washers, bolts, and nuts in the bottom fairing while doing this. Luckily I was able to fish them all out.

I routed the tail light wire through and connected it.

Tail light is screwed on with some Loctite.

And it works!

I bolted the rudder cables to the rudder horn and took some measurements to make the links that connect with cable to the pedals. I will make those at home and bring them next time.

Finally, I installed both aileron push rods in the wings and bolted them to the bellcranks.
