Pitot Tube and OAT Sensor Installation, Left Wing Buttoning Up (Wings)
2.8 Hours

Previous - Index - Next

I installed the left wing tip with screws.

And then installed the nav light lens.

I tested the pitot tube to make sure it heated up, which it did, very quickly.

I cut and flared the metal tubing from the pitot tube and installed the AN hardware on the end.

Then I installed the pitot tube in the mount.

Finally, I connected the plastic pitot and AOA tubing to the fittings. I also installed the heater regulator and connected the wiring to the pitot.

I drilled the hole for the outside temperature sensor in the left wing and then mounted the sensor.

I installed all of the access panel covers in the left wing as well as the fuselage bottom skin to wing bottom skin screws.
