I started working on the wing root fairings and their rubber seal. I discovered a couple of things in the process. One is that I had the seal backwards. Two is that it's probably helpful to glue the seal to the fairing with some RTV. Third is that I installed the wrong size nut plates on the top aft section of the wing on both sides.

After taking this picture, I took the fairings back off and glued the rubber in the right direction with RTV. Then I drilled out the rivets for all of the wrong size nutplates. I will need to get some 3/32" blind rivets to reattach the correct nutplates, since I won't be able to get the squeezer or a bucking bar in between the wing and the fuselage and I sure as hell am not taking the wing off at this point.

I installed the seals on the forward section of the canopy.

I took the desiccant plugs out of the tops of the cylinders and hand screwed in the spark plugs. I need to get a 21mm spark plug socket to torque them.

I also started working on finishing bolting the control stick assembly to the aileron pushrods.
