Installed Interior, Weight and Balance (Center Fuselage)
1.0 Hours

This morning I built this table out of 2x4s and plywood to support the tail of the plane in a near-level attitude.

Then I went out to the airport and worked on finishing installation of the cockpit interior. Here are the stick boots installed.

Then I installed the armrests and the seats. I also put the carpet and center tunnel covers stuff in place, but have not final installed them yet.

Then I rolled the plane out in the sun for some pictures.

It's pretty!

Then, back in the hangar, I used my little ramps to roll it up on the scales.

And I used my little table and the third scale under the tailwheel.

Total weight is 1,115 lbs, which is not bad when you consider that it has two alternators and a full G3x glass panel. I'm really glad I went with the lightweight composite propeller.

I did some initial measurements for "arm lengths" for the center of gravity calculations. I want to double check them again, but first pass on the CG looks good unless I put 100 lbs in the baggage area and two 260+ people in the cockpit with minimum fuel.
